Shape Pictures

On Monday we made pictures using shapes. 

We made houses.

 

 

         

We made cars, lorries, boats and trains.

                                       

 

 

 

We made people and robots.

 

We even made ice-cream cones, sunshine, kites, clouds and rain.

We found out that shapes are everywhere. We made play dough shapes on these pictures of everyday things.... tiles, footballs, buildings, signposts, washing machines and teacups.

 

We used tangram shapes to make pictures. Next week we are going to use shapes to make our own pictures.

The Little Red Hen

We read the story of 'The Little Red Hen'! 

We used stick puppets to retell the story.

Cafe

We have been playing Cafe in the mornings. The chefs are busy preparing food and drinks for the customers. The waiters take the orders and the customers have a lovely meal!

Baking Bread!

We have been reading the story of 'The Little Red Hen'! Today we baked bread just like the little red hen in the story. Everybody helped so we all shared the bread when it was ready. Look at our photostory to see how we did it!

Bake Sale - Yummy!!
